About Our System

We do not currently have a system name. We are a diagnosed polyfragmented DID system, and have been actively recovering since 2019.

We are currently in CBT therapy until our therapist is trained to perform EMDR on patients with complex trauma.

We are highly fantasy prone and while we don't always split fictives when a stressful/traumatic event occurs, it does happen more often than average (albeit, about as often as a split of an alter who is an introject of someone in our lives or isn't an introject at all). This is something that, due to previous Vent and Tumblr system culture, upsets us at times, especially one of the hosts.

About The Body

The body is 21 years old as of the latest iteration of this Carrd. The body is also black, neurodivergent (ASD, ADHD-PI, psychosis), and disabled (chronic fatigue). We collectively talk about our experiences, though some experience symptoms differently than others.

About This Account

This account acts as a journal. We have not decided if we're more comfortable posting on public or mutuals only, but the account itself will be public for now. Our opinions will be listed in the DNLI, and they will change of our own volition, not based on what we're told on a website.

Before Listening

The hosts may speak about their experiences very clinically. If this puts you off, reconsider listening. We block very freely. If you make us uncomfortable, you will be soft- or hardblocked. If you are blocked and you want to ask us why, please understand that we won't sugarcoat the reasoning. You might not like what you hear.We do not list names or roles, nor do we differentiate between our introjects and non-introjects. They'll choose if they want to give these things out or not, but the internet is a weird and dangerous place and we're sick of people using this information to hurt us.We don't know how many alters are in our system at the moment. We don't even have a rough estimate right now. There may be parts that other parts—especially the hosts or other ANPs—don't know about.

You conflate fictional introjects and kin in any way, or use kin terms for system experiences. Please don't take this to mean you can't use them at all. This is a personal discomfort. This includes calling fictives or kinnies that are of the same character as yours "doubles", referring to pseudomemories as "canons", looking for "canonmates", etc. I will not discount a discomfort with kinnies or even fictives who share an introject's identity (for lack of a better term), but keep in mind that people who kin spiritually don't control who they kin, and fictives form however they need to and can't just change for you.

You believe that a system can be made entirely of fictives. The Tumblr page this-is-not-dissociative has an excellent post about this. I don't need to go into further detail about this.
This is not talking about systems who have a lot of fictional introjects while also having non-introject parts, recent media or not, even if said non-introject parts are dormant. Splits happen, beliefs may be introjected, and outside factors may cause an introject to form. I disagree that simply having a high number of introjects while still having non-introject parts is a red flag, especially considering the era we're in. I just don't believe a system can be ALL introjects, and I don't need to be comfortable with it or agree with it.

You demonize persecutors OR treat them like they're uwu misunderstood babies who can do no wrong. Persecutors are not inherently evil alters. They are traumatized parts just like any other. Shoehorning them into this "evil" hole isn't helpful for integration or fusion, if the latter is a goal for your system. However, persecutors need to be held responsible for their actions just as much as anyone else.

You spread the misinformation that fusion is inherently harmful. Integration is not the same as fusion. Integration is required for all forms of treatment, fusion is not. However, just because fusion may not be right for your system doesn't make it wrong. Period. However, as fusion may be a scary prospect whether you understand it or not, we will tag it. But as fusion, not integration.

You force the idea of a core/original/"real one" onto people. First of all, the "real one" is just invalidating to every other part, because the person who fronts the most, "original" or not, is still a part. The idea of a core/original doesn't fit the theory of structural dissociation, which states that the parts never had a chance to integrate in the first place. If you don't believe that and still want to use the term for your system, go for it! Just don't force it on people who don't use it.
